The technology is great these days. There's Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices that are consumer-friendly that can be used at home - there's jump drives (flash drives, memory sticks, etc.) that can fit on ones key chain and can hold multiple gigs of data. There are external hard drives at good price points. With a little help, the average consumer can navigate the often tedious and time-consuming path of making a good purchase decision.
